For ten years I was a San Diego Police Officer enjoying an exciting career. I thought it would last at least another ten years with stable, reliable income and good benefits. An accident forced me into an early retirement and I began to ask myself, "What's next?" I didn't have a Plan B in place and didn't know what else I would find as fulfilling. I went back to school to obtain my Masters thinking I would give the corporate world a try. Although I loved meeting new people and studying in school the thought of a "9 to 5" and answering to someone else was not something that was appealing to me. So what are my options? I tried several small businesses but I always ended up doing much more work for little comparable reward and no extra time. As a single parent with 2 girls in high school I wanted to be able to spend more time at home and work on my own terms. Additionally, for me I've always wanted more than just a pay check. I've always wanted to be involved with something that made a difference and that I felt good about what I was doing. When I was given a small one on one presentation in my home by then AM, Saragrace Keenan about Arbonne I didn't think I would ever get involved in this industry. However, as I listened about the products and the career opportunity I knew something was different about this company and my life was about to change for the better. Because of the herbal, botanical-based products I felt and looked so much better, and because of the generous compensation plan, I started experiencing financial security.

Early in my career, I met ENVP, Sandra Tillinghast, at the car presentation for my upline RVP Kirsten Berkhout.
